Jo Ho: Jo Ho is a self-taught award-winning screenwriter & director who gained her first broadcast credit when she created and wrote one of CBBC’s most ambitious productions in history, the action packed fantasy, Spirit Warriors. Jo is the first Chinese person to have created a UK drama series. Known for her high concept work, Jo is now in development on a number of original TV series including a medieval adventure for acclaimed producers Morgan O’Sullivan & James Flynn (The Borgias, The Tudors, Vikings) and a US genre show for Rick Porras (The Lord of the Rings trilogy). Jo also has several original screenplays under consideration including sci fi thriller, Spore and horror, Bloodlines. In 2010 Jo was named Winner of the Women In Film and Television’s ‘New Talent’ Award. She was also nominated for CDN’s ‘Best Breakthrough Production Talent’ Award, with Spirit Warriors in the running for ‘Best Children’s Programme’ at 2011s Broadcast Award’s. Jo also directs;Isolation 9 won best short film at the Buffalo San Film Festival and Monkey Nut Tales was chosen by Film London for their prestigious PULSE strand. The short film debuted at the Times BFI London Film Festival.
